Meet Marcelle Raphael

Marcelle Raphael is an award-winning, published maternity and newborn photographer in Columbia, South Carolina. With 21+ years of experience, a degree in photography, and more than 3,000 newborns photographed, she combines fine art portraiture with expert posing and a careful approach to newborn safety and comfort.

Each session includes personalized styling and access to more than 350 couture gowns, dresses, bodysuits, jewelry, and accessories. She guides every detail, from wardrobe selection to posing and lighting, so clients can feel comfortable and enjoy the experience without knowing what to wear or how to pose.

She also teaches and mentors professional newborn photographers. In her studio, her focus is creating timeless maternity and newborn portraits that families can display and treasure for generations.
